InfraSol Group provided advisory services to the Project Sponsors in DTMR to establish the project team for the environmental impact assessment, development of the business case and strategic procurement plan for a 30km Inner City Rail network upgrade, which later became Cross River Rail.
We led the engagement with the proposed operator (Queensland Rail) with respect to the rail safety and other operational requirements and interface issues. we also reviewed the procurement strategy and identified key issues and risks in relation to the proposed procurement strategy

The Cross River Rail Project was a proposed $5B, 18-kilometre north-south rail line from Salisbury to Bowen Hills through Brisbane's CBD, with additional railway tracks and stations for passenger and freight train services. The project was stopped due to funding re-direction for state wide flood impact management. The key features were:
