As an island and an exporting nation Australia’s ports are the lifeblood of our economy. Approximately $1.2 billion in trade passes through our ports daily and with volumes through some ports expected to significantly exceed capacity by 2031 requiring further development to meet demand.
InfraSol is working with UrbanGrowth NSW who are leading the urban transformation of The Bays Precinct – an area 2 kms west of Sydney CBD. It includes 5.5 kms of harbourfront and encompasses 95 hectares of Government owned land located within and around the suburbs of Pyrmont, Ultimo, Annandale, Glebe, Rozelle, Lilyfield and Balmain as well as the waterway and the foreshores of Johnstons Bay, White Bay, Rozelle and Blackwattle Bays. Their work includes the preparation of an Integrated Transport and Land Use Masterplan, and a Transport Strategic Program Business Case for Bays West, and redevelopment of the Sydney Fish Market and the Bays Market District at Bays East.
