Mark Roberts

A Director of InfraSol Group since early 2015 with over 20 years of professional experience, Mark is a technically astute, strategic transport leader with 20 years professional experience, across New Zealand, Australia and the UK. Mark is a highly experienced transport project practitioner who has a significant knowledge of the NSW rail network industry.

Mark is also a skilled stakeholder engagement and management professional who has a broad technical, project development and delivery skillset. He is a strong communicator and team leader who uses his influence and management skills to ensure stakeholders support, contributing to the success of his projects. Mark has a wide range of experience across transport disciplines including strategic planning, capacity improvements, project development, business case development, project delivery, PPP’s and franchise bids. 

Mark was recognised by London Underground for his project management role in the response and re-establishment of rail services following the 7 July 2005 bombings in London. Mark established and led rail consultancy CDL Australia for four years as Managing Director until the group was acquired by GHD in 2011.

I get inspired and excited by opportunities to work on projects that improve efficiency of our built environment, from improving our public transport systems, getting the most out of freight networks to developing projects that link our journeys and activities with ease. Realising a project’s objectives in a way that benefits all stakeholders and enjoying the journey is truly rewarding.
